From the Mountain
Lee Canyon’s newest lift, the Ponderosa chairlift, is a Skytrac fixed-grip quad on the southeast side of the mountain. It opens up runs like Bonanza Ridge, Foxtail Alley, and Limber Pine Lane, and anchors a new base area built for first-timers and families.
The two-story Hillside Lodge is a 10,000-square-foot basecamp with a bistro and grill, a ski-in, ski-out bar, and heated outdoor terrace dining, so there is a warm place to regroup between runs.
New RFID access gates scan your pass automatically as you load the lift, right from your pocket, so there is no ticket to dig out and no line at the window.
High in the Spring Mountains inside the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, Lee Canyon averages around 161 inches of snow a year, the closest natural snow to the Las Vegas Strip.
