Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

 

Personal Information

Participating in the SnowJam Expo admission / membership, some personal information needs to be collected to fulfill our obligation to you. We collect your name, email address, zip code, gender, age range, and participating sport. Each resort booth you visit, whether in person or online, to redeem a benefit, you agree to share your name and email address with the resort. Resorts have the right to send an email to the registered email address only after you have visited their booth and have claimed a benefit. The amount of information you provide is completely voluntary; however, providing less information will limit a user’s ability to access all of SnowJam’s features. 

Usage and analytics data

We collect usage information in order to assess how users access and utilize our website. This data is valuable to SnowJam for various internal purposes, including troubleshooting and improving site’s functionality. The information we collect might include the user’s Internet service provider, type of web browser or operating system, IP address, viewed pages, time and duration of site visits, crash logs, and other information relating to site usage.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies in order to enhance our sites functionality. Most web browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Please note, however, that certain features of the site might not function if you delete or disable cookies. THE SITE’S COOKIES DO NOT AND CANNOT INFILTRATE A USER’S HARD DRIVE TO COLLECT ANY INFORMATION STORED ON THE HARD DRIVE.

Customer service and follow-up

In order to better suite your needs, we may ask you to provide some identifying information including your name and email address for customer support services, including dealing with returns, cancellations, billing and payment issues, or other matters. We may also collect user information for routine follow-ups in order to assess customer satisfaction.

General announcements

SnowJam might use personal information for periodic general announcements to users. These can include notifications, updates regarding SnowJam Expo’s, Membership Programs, or other marketing communications, and so forth.

Third party service providers

SnowJam might be required to share user data with any third-party service providers to assist with upgrades, maintenance, or analytics data review or compilation. These third-party service providers employ adequate security measures with respect to user data.

Sharing with affiliates

Once you redeem a benefit at one of our Resort Affiliates, you agree to the terms of service. Only your name and email address will be provided to the affiliate. We share provided information only upon visiting a resort affiliate and having your admission ticket / membership scanned, virtually or in person. Furthermore, if the company participates in a merger, stock purchase, asset purchase, or other acquisition, it will be required to share user information with the purchaser or surviving entity.

Compliance with laws

The Company cooperates with government and law enforcement officials to enforce and comply with the law. We may therefore disclose personal information, usage data, message data, and any other information about you, if we deem that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process (such as a subpoena or court order), or enforceable governmental request; (b) enforce the Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations thereof; (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of the Company, its users or the public, as required or permitted by law.

Security

SnowJam will use necessary measures to protect the security of user data. It is impossible for the company to completely guarantee that user data will be immune from malicious attack or compromise; as such, the users should understand that their transmission of personal data is always at your own risk.

Storage and Maintenance of User Data in the United States

Users information will be subject to the laws of the United States of America, regardless of the country from which your data originates.

Updating user information

Users are permitted to correct, update or change their personal information, or adjust or cease the frequency with which they receive communications from SnowJam. You may opt out of receiving any and all communications from SnowJam after we satisfy our obligation to provide Admission tickets / Membership documents.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may make changes to the Privacy Policy from time to time. You should periodically revisit the policy for any updates. Users who continue to interact with this site following a revision of the company’s privacy policy will automatically be subject to the new terms.

Data Safekeeping

Again, users should carefully protect the personal information that they submit on this website – including name, email, zip code, gender, age range, sport, et. al – so that third parties can’t manipulate your account or assume your identities. Do not disclose any sensitive information in the public domain.

Right to be forgotten

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay.

Right to access

You have a right to request access to the personal data that we hold about you. You also have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, and we will provide you with this unless legal exceptions apply.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENT’S RIGHT TO OPT OUT OF ANY “SALE” OF PERSONAL INFORMATION UNDER THE CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT (CCPA):   

In view of the definition of “sale” under the CCPA, SnowJam LLC (the “Company”) may, either now or in the future, exchange, share, and/or “sell” (as defined under the CCPA) the following categories of Personal Information to certain third party data analytics providers: (1) personal identifiers; (2)  characteristics of protected classifications under California and federal law; (3)  Internet/electronic activity; (4) commercial information; and/or (5) inferences drawn from the categories described above in order to create a profile about you to reflect your preferences and characteristics.  Our Company, however, does not knowingly sell any Personal Information of minors under the age of 16. 

INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU WANT TO OPT OUT OF SUCH “SALE”:

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE THE RIGHT UNDER THE CCPA TO OPT OUT OF ANY “SALE” OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES, AS THE TERM “SALE” IS DEFINED UNDER THE CCPA.  TO SUBMIT A REQUEST TO OPT OUT OF THE “SALE” OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THE THIRD PARTY DATA ANALYTICS PROVIDERS, PLEASE CONTACT SnowJam.
