For years, skiers and riders have been forced to make a tough decision between the steeps, glades, and 3,600 skiable acres at Palisades or the down-home vibe, expansive bowls and hidden hike-to boundaries of Alpine. As of 2023, with the Base to Base Gondola, we no longer have to choose. Our two base areas are connected providing easy, uninterrupted access to our unique and varied terrain.
Palisades Tahoe consistently boasts an impressive annual snowfall of 400 inches or more, making it a reliable haven. The resort’s geographical location and elevation in the Sierra Nevada mountain range contribute to this remarkable snow accumulation.
Choose from one of three enclosed lifts to access higher elevations. Palisades Tahoe is the only ski resort in North America with a Gondola, a Funitel, and an Aerial Tram.
