Mountain High is Southern California’s closest winter resort with world-class terrain features, night skiing every night until 10pm, and no mountain driving. What was once three separate resorts is now a single destination with 14 lifts, 59 trails, and some of the best skiing, snowboarding, and tubing in Southern California. Each base area is complete with ticket windows, sports shops, rentals, restaurants, lessons and more. Mountain High Terrain
East Resort
The East Resort boasts the longest trails in the region serviced by a single high-speed quad. Its long, groomed, cruising trails make it perfect for carving, but it is also home to the Olympic Bowl, the longest, steepest bump run in the region. The top elevation is 8,200 feet, which is comparable to the Big Bear resorts. After a quick ascent on the Mountain High Express, you'll find an additional 20 acres of beginner terrain serviced by The Discovery quad chairlift. This often overlooked area is perfect for learning and designed to stimulate the heart as well as the head. With 1,600 vertical feet of uninterrupted corduroy, the East Resort offers traditional skiers and snowboarders a true alpine experience without having to journey far from home.
West Resort
The West Resort has everything from wide-open beginner areas to gladed tree skiing hideaways to challenging black diamond trails. It has a young, energetic feel, but there's more to it than just jumps and jibs. West is home to the resort's Children's Sports Center, the Bullwheel Bar and Grill and the Foggy Goggle where fashion shows, movie premieres and live performances are held on a regular basis. Night skiing is also available 7 nights-a-week peak season from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Over 85% of the area is lit including the terrain park.
Terrain Parks
Nearly the entire West Resort is dedicated to terrain features making it one of the largest terrain parks on the West Coast. Numerous features including jumps, rails and funboxes blanket the mountain creating a paradise for freestyle skiers and snowboarders. The terrain features vary in size and shape, and Mountain High offers everything from small, beginner-type jumps on Creekside to competitive-sized features on Conquest. All features are built with safety in mind, and Mountain High heavily promotes proper resort etiquette as outlined in the Responsibility Code and Smart Style.
Yeti's Snow Play
Make it a "Snow Day" at the Yeti's Snow Play located at Mountain High's East Resort. Slide down the tubing lanes, meet the Yeti & his friends, or have lunch at the Grand View Lodge located at 8,200ft. Purchase tickets in advance for the greatest savings. Remember to dress warmly, bring your gloves, and appropriate shoes.
