Small Mountain Resort Delivers Big Mountain Fun

There are not many ski resorts where a guest can pull into the parking area, purchase a lift ticket, make a few runs and within a few hours feel like he is “family”. Brian Head Resort really is such a place.
Long known for it’s friendly vibe and amazing snow, Brian Head Resort stops at nothing to provide that special memory for your family. We continue to bring in a new ideas and methods and technology to provide that improved feel, yet still maintain our small mountain appeal.
Guest continue to be amazed at how the resort staff welcomes them back year after year, remembers their kids names, knows their equipment needs and are just genuinely happy to see them again. Perhaps it is going the extra mile to get their child into that “just right” lesson, upgrading their equipment to the right size or performance level or even sharing a secret “locals” powder stash during a fun private lesson, it really is all about just being “family”.

Winter Sports School

The Brian Head Resort Winter Sports School has ski and snowboard lesson and coaching for every level of skier or rider. Whether you are new to snow sports or are a veteran ripper, we offer coaching and lessons for every ability. The amazing user friendly terrain and lifts of Navajo Mountain make the experience for our first time friends, young and old, as good as it gets. With specially sculpted snow features, a user friendly learning area (think playground) and some of the best instructors in the business, learning to ski or snowboard has never been as easy, fun or as affordable as it is at Brian Head Resort
Parents quickly realize that they want a ski improvement clinic too, when they find it hard to keep up with the kids after they graduate out of our Kids Camp programs. Not to worry however, as we have fun and informative ski/ride improvement clinics for every level of experience based out of our Navajo Learning Center at Navajo lodge.

Activities

There is a lot more to do at Brian Head Resort than ski or snowboard!
Activities for non-skiers are numerous all over the resort day and night as well. The whole family can get into the groove of snow tubing on our custom groomed snow tubing hill. With two snow tubing hills based at Giant Steps Lodge and Navajo Lodge riders grab their tubes and are transported to the top of the hill via either a tow type lift or a surface style “magic carpet” people mover. Once at the top, the countdown begins and it’s time to “Burn Rubber”! Regardless of who “wins”, brother, sister, mom or dad, families are sure to get hooked on the thrill and fun of our awesome snow tubing hills.

The fun doesn’t stop after the sun goes down either. With night skiing/riding and snow tubing sessions on weekends and holidays, guests can ski all day and ski or tube the evening away before retiring to the hot tub back at the condo. With “The Greatest Snow on Earth”, the fun, variety, thrills, and excitement of our skiing, riding and other activities, the staff that sees to any need, Brian Head Resort could easily be mistaken for one of those “big, expensive try to do everything conglomerate resorts”.
